Important Deadlines

The Night of the Stars Awards Program uses a two-step nomination process. From June 1 to July 17, NAIOPWA solicits project and firm nominations online. On August 7, nominees will be notified with their presentation date, format, time(s) and additional details. Nominees have the opportunity to make a virtual presentation to a panel of judges on the morning of September 10 or 11 via Zoom. Presentations for each nomination will be limited to approximately 5 minutes. Finalists will be announced at our monthly breakfast meeting on September 17, 2026.

Please keep these important dates in mind for Night of the Stars 2026:

Jun. 1, 2026: Nomination system online.
Jul. 17, 2026: Nominations for all categories due by 11:59 pm PT.
Aug. 7, 2026: Development Award nominees are notified of the judging presentation schedule.
Aug. 12, 2026: General table sales online. Night of the Stars sponsors do not have to wait to purchase their table.
Sept. 10 & 11, 2026: Finalist presentations via Zoom.
Sept. 17, 2026: Development Award finalists announced at NAIOPWA September breakfast meeting and media embargo lifted. Online voting for People's Choice begins.
Sept. 28, 2026: Last day for table refunds less processing fees.
Oct. 1, 2026: Online voting for People's Choice ends.
Oct. 23, 2026: Deadline to submit individual attendee names for tables of 10 via online form.
Oct. 30, 2026: Winners announced at the Hyatt Regnecy Seattle.
