WINNER: Spire
Category
High-Rise Residential Development of the Year
Description
It's a $350 million, 41-story, 343-unit luxury condominium building located on a 10,660 square foot triangular site. Spire is debuting Seattle's first automatic parking system: homeowners drive into a portal, swipe a card, and cars are parked completely automatically. For the 102-foot-deep excavation, Spire utilized Seattle's first "tele-dipper,” employing a telescoping arm to raise soil from the bottom of the excavation. At 40% sold – despite the pandemic – Spire is well received by homebuyers.
