Meta Block 20 Spring District [WINNER]
Category
Office Interior of the Year
Description
During the height of the pandemic, Gensler embarked on a holistic transformation of REI’s completed but never occupied Spring District headquarters into a unique workplace for Meta’s growing employee base in the Puget Sound. The building was reconfigured from REI’s bespoke needs into a tech workplace through various surgical interventions. These ranged in scale from fine-tuning existing rooms to a new full-service café, while maintaining as much of the existing structure as possible.
