Description
The new 2,600-square-foot clinic supports the recently opened ʔálʔal affordable housing building. ʔálʔal, meaning “home” in the indigenous Lushootseed language, offers housing for those experiencing homelessness, with the far majority of them Native Americans and Alaska Natives. The clinic, operated by Seattle Indian Health Board, features a fully furnished pharmacy, medical examination, and procedure areas. It provides medical, dental, pharmacy, behavioral health, and traditional medicine services to residents.
