Historic Renovation of the Year
Description
Originally designed to look like a home instead of an office, the building showcases all of the different woods Weyerhauser logged and milled.
The team took on the task of restoring the building to its 1920's grandeur. After four moves, the interior and exterior was transformed while abiding by guidelines set by the National Historic Registry.
Port officials have been working for more than two decades to clean up and renovate the waterfront.
