Description
Motivated by the need for affordable housing and community services for seniors, the Ethiopian Community in Seattle (ECS) partnered with HumanGood Affordable Housing (HGAH) to develop Ethiopian Village, a new mixed-use community in Seattle’s Rainier Valley. The project provides 90 affordable homes for seniors and a renovated Ethiopian Community Center. On-site supportive services provide assistance in meeting basic needs and critical services to refugees and immigrants to successfully transition to their new home country.
