Items on display highlight the office’s unique Pacific Northwest identity and culture, including custom artifacts assembled by local trade unions, historic company mementos and a symbolic oar gifted by the Snoqualmie tribe.

Booths support individual focused work and paired conversations. Custom details celebrate craft and local identity, such as a wallpaper depicting the company’s Pacific Northwest project portfolio.

A central hallway creates visual connections between meeting rooms, informal gathering spaces and team spaces. Dynamic lighting at the columns helps draw people through the space toward the view of the lake.

The kitchen area is connected to a flexible work lounge that supports collaboration and individual work away from the desk and can also flex to support larger events. Details such as planters created from CLT offcuts from a local project and board and batten inspired by wood framing speak to Skanska's craft and builder heritage.

Cozy corrugated acoustic walls and soft lighting create a warm and inviting area for video calls or small team collaboration. Colors and textures were inspired by industrial materials often found on construction sites.

With views of the Space Needle and Lake Union, the north work lounge is outfitted with furniture that supports large group gatherings as well as small group collaboration and individual work.

A dated Skanska crane sign is repurposed into a lighting fixture within a prominent gathering space. The installation is visible from the street below, supporting external brand awareness as well as functional collaboration between teams.
