The Gordon Family YMCA opened in fall 2015 and is the largest YMCA built in Pierce and Kitsap County at 110,000 square feet. Responding to community input, the design includes an arts center, a teen and technology center and a dedicated youth gym. Other available spaces include a yoga studio, cycling studio, climbing wall and three multi-purpose rooms; an onsite MultiCare Center offers hands-on physical and occupational therapy services.

A 15,000-square-foot natatorium containing a large lap and vortex pool, lazy river and water basketball play area is surrounded by a pool deck area that offers increased spectator seating. Improved ADA accessibility was incorporated into the design of the locker rooms, creating a private, suite-like experience for families.
