Virginia Mason's vision of introducing a 3T MRI to the Seattle campus is to deliver safe, timely and higher quality studies of the brain, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, vasculature and other extremities. The development goal of installing a GE Healthcare/PDC Caring MR Suite® is to provide exceptional patient and visitor experience. Virginia Mason's design and construction guiding principles are to create continuous process flow to bring problems to surface. The 3T MRI project was a complete success in achieving their goals.
