Community Impact of the Year
Description
This 17,300-square-foot facility fulfills a 10-year capital campaign to replace a temporary, 5,200-square-foot center and furthers the Salvation Army’s mission to feed, clothe, comfort and care. The corps has doubled its meal program with an expanded kitchen and dining hall. Classrooms, a computer lab, and activity rooms support after-school and summer education programs. The gym is a safe place to meet friends and participate in sports; the chapel a sanctuary for spiritual development.
