The Global Innovation Exchange establishes a new center for the Seattle region’s innovation ecosystem. A partnership between the University of Washington and China’s Tsinghua University funded by Microsoft, GIX brings academia and industry together to solve complex global problems. This new state-of-the-art facility offers collaborative work environments, classrooms, cutting edge spaces and platforms for industry interaction and product launch. Students will address three primary fields of global impact – sustainability, global health and social innovation.
