Redfin’s three-story, 112,000-square-foot headquarters in Hill7 is inspired by the attributes of home. Enclosed “houses” with undulating rooflines form collaboration spaces containing open meeting, closed conference and focus rooms. Private offices are reinvented as a series of glass-walled team rooms lining the perimeter of each floor, with size variation creating the impression of walking through a residential neighborhood. In-between spaces suggestive of alleyways and a custom-designed unifying central stair also support cooperation.
