Sammamish Village was hatched by a requirement for a new Metropolitan Market in Sammamish. Addressing all of the city's Town Center Plan objectives required growing the project from 35,000 to 115,000 square feet with the addition of a second anchor and a 32,000-square-foot medical office building. Despite an 85-foot change in elevation, the completed development provides vertical pedestrian connections and storefront parking on four levels, while meeting the city’s TCP park and trail connection objectives.
