Description
For over 20 years, Starbucks corporate headquarters shared a century-old building just south of downtown Seattle with a Sears department store. After Sears closed in 2014, NBBJ and Starbucks collaborated to envision a new workspace in the “Sears” section of the building. Balancing existing features with new structure and materials, the completed space is infused with historic reference and future aspiration, reflecting the Starbucks brand for the partners who work there and all who visit.
