Multi-Family Residential Urban Development of the Year: More than 100 Units
Sitka is a full block 384-unit apartment community in Seattle’s Cascade neighborhood. The project’s Pacific Northwest style evokes a lush and serene forested setting, but within a dense urban context. Sitka is LEED for Homes Platinum certified and features a first-in-the-country wastewater heat recovery system for heating domestic hot water, a greywater irrigation system, and several energy and water-saving features that improve resident comfort while reducing impact on the environment.
